Tourist guide to Puntagorda Puntagorda is a small rural community of 31,10 Km2, in the north-west of La Palma. It has much to offer the tourist seeking peace and quiet in a rural setting. Situated in pine forests on the steep side of the Caldera de Taburiente Puntagorda offers excellent views over the green landscape and ocean. It's position on the road to the highest point at Roque de los Muchachos makes it an ideal stopping place on the round trip to the top.
